Its a rainy Sunday in the UK and I’ve been sitting in front of the TV since 11:30 this morning waiting for the Moto GP at Silverstone to start. Its 15:30 now and still no racing in sight due to a waterlogged track!..this is summer in the UK š
The good news is that in just 3 days time I’ll be leaving for Portsmouth to get the overnight ferry to Bilbao in Spain..then the fun will start with a 1,500 mile ride right across the Pyrenees to Roses on the Mediterranean coast and then back again, via all the very best biking roads š
Incidentally..the weather forecast for Roses on the day we arrive is 29degs C and sunny š
The route has been meticulously researched and planned by my riding buddy Bernard with a small amount of input from me. We will be joined by Stuart, Gary and Bernard’s brother Mike.
Stay tuned for Pyrenees updates as the trip unfolds…it will be an Adventure, not a Holiday!! š
