Uploading photos during the trip was often not possible due to very slow, or non existent wifi. So here is my collection of pics covering Thailand & Myanmar which summarises the journey from start to finish.
Myanmar is a beautiful place, although backward compared to Thailand; dusty, hot, terrible roads, lots of Pagodas, chaos everywhere and full of lovely friendly, smiley people who were always pleased to see us. We went to places where tourists never get; this is the beauty of travelling by motorbike which enabled us to see the real Myanmar.
Thanks again to Duncan & Alan from Tonys Big Bikes for a great adventure and thanks to my fellow travellers..Debbie & Glen, Bryn and Simon, Paul, Pat and Jay for your company and laughs along the way. Apart from a few stomach upsets suffered by some, a few broken ribs and a gashed knee we all survived and had a great time. Can’t wait for the next Far East Adventure!!
