Through Thailand, Cambodia & Laos by motorbike….Its an Adventure..not a holiday 🙂

The taxi arrives at 08:30 on Sat 30th, will pick up my friend Bernard on the way to Heathrow….Thai Airways to Bangkok…11 1/2 hrs :(…arrives 06.15 Sunday morning, then taxi to Pattaya (about 90 mins). Must remember to take the Malaria pills!

2 nights in Pattaya to acclimatise, should be 30degs there 🙂 Bikes arrive by truck from Chiang Mai on 31st..Meet up with Duncan & Alan from Tony’s Big Bikes…our guides.

We set off on 2nd Feb at 06:00 to ride to Cambodia, cross the border (which apparently can be quiet a challenge) and finish the first day in Phnom Phen..approx. 650Kms. We will visit the Killing Fields.

Hotels only booked at the start and finish…that should be exciting!

The on to Siem Reap to visit Angor Wat

Carry on through Cambodia and cross into Laos to the capital Vientiane.

Vientiane to Luang Prabang …fantastic scenery on the way

Luang Prabang – Muang La, then on to Ban Lathan – Some light off road and a village homestay…!!

Ban Lathan – Luang Prabang – Put the bikes on a boat and take them down the Mekong. Arrive early in Luang Prabang for some sight seeing

Luang Prabang – Thung Chan(Thailand) – Some light off road

Thung Chan – Chiang Mai arrive on 14th Feb

Leave Chiang Mai on 16th Feb at 10:40 on Thai Airways via Bangkok to London Heathrow…arrive 19:35 same day
